Tuesday with Freud

Yesterday, Jamie's PSY 101 class met at the Freud museum off of Finchly Road (see above). Chuck & I tagged along and I'm very glad we did. After a scramble to get there, we walked up a steep hill and down a tree-lined street. The house itself was lovely with large, well-portioned rooms, and a wonderful stairway with a large, window-filled landing. My favorite part of the tour was the home movies of the Freud family. And of course, I was very tempted to lie down on Freud's famous couch -- ropes stopped me right there!

Afterwards, Chuck, Paul & I had a 5 course Indian lunch in Islington, which was tasty. I love the nan bread.

In the evening, we headed to Holborn to the Primrose Theatre to see Cirque Cirkor -- 8 Swedish acrobats in a Cirque du Soleil meets Monty Python performance. It was funny, bizaare, and I sat in amazement at the feats of strength and flexibility!
