Wednesday - a 2 museum day

Today the cluster course was assigned to explore the Darwin Centre at the Natural History Museum. The technology here is just fabulous! Chuck & I met the group and then did some exploration of other parts of the museum (went to the Darwin Centre earlier this semester with the PSY 101 students). We saw part of the mineral collection -- wow -- in a long room with lots of windows and lots of display cases. I wanted it all.

My greed grew when we crossed the road to the Victoria & Albert museum with their collections of decorative arts. Today in our first, but not last visit, we focused on the jewelry collection, which is stunning (I think that's the first time I've used the word "stunning" in my blog this semester). I was so enamored that I purchased a book detailing the V&A's jewelry collection. We'll definitely be returning.

No photos today, sorry! Forgot the camera, but here's a photo of me in my new gift from the kind and generous Doreen!!!
